Swimming with Sharks.

Depending on who you are, that headline either sent a shiver of fear and apprehension down your spine, or a shiver of excitement and exhilaration up your spine. Sharks. How to do the Swiss Alps.

Iz Harris is a travel journalist and producer based in Washington DC. She is the host and creator behind Eater’s show, Travel, Eat, Repeat and a full-time vlogger on Youtube. She, her husband, and their two small children spend most of the year traveling the globe and documenting it to share. They recently spent 7 days exploring the Swiss Alps as a family. I don’t have to tell you how beautiful Australia is. Its ancient landscapes are like no where else on earth. No, we don’t have majestic fjords and spectacular alpine ranges, and as magnificent as they are we’ll leave them to the rest of the world.

The beauty of the sunburnt country lies in sounds and places only found here… Urluru, the Great Barrier Reef, the ghost gum forests and the unique haunting sound of the didgeridoo, to name just a few. Hey, it’s nearly end of year.  2018 is hurtling to a close. Where have you been? No where? What’s going on? Are you travelling with lithium batteries?

Here’s what you should know.

You can’t escape travelling with lithium batteries. Every modern device has one. Some small and some large. Professional photographers can take multiples of 10 on distant shoots…to cover lights and cameras and other equipment. But even Joe and Jill Public, need batteries on their on their holidays. Unless you only want to rely on your margarita fuelled memory, and not take any batteries with you, you’re going to have the overcome the issue of how to pack them. Especially if you travel internationally, epecially if you travel in and out of the US.
